About The Cover: We have it all covered! For 75 years we have been a construction trucking focused association – that is not changing. What is changing is the association’s Executive Committee has decided to rename the CCTA the Western States Trucking Association to more accurately reflect the diversity of trucking operations our members are engaged in. The association will be the only national trucking association that includes a construction trucking focused subdivision among our various subdivisions. Our subdivisions – or conferences – will be modal specific out of recognition that while many issues faced by trucking are universal, there are issues specific to a particular segment of the overall industry. We will be going through a significant rebranding process over the next couple of months including renaming the magazine the Western Transportation News Magazine.
